There were over 140 entries in an extremely strong Suffolk section, with breeders making the trip from right across the country to compete from the coveted All-Ireland title.

Judge for the 2025 championships was Lesley Ligget, from the well-known NI-based Carony flock.

The 2025 Suffolk All-Ireland champion was a mighty shearling ewe from Co Cork's Susan O’Keefe. This standout shearling ewe was a daughter of Ballinatone BT Buddy.

Susan also claimed reserve female champion with a first crop ewe that was sired by Blackbrae AB President.

Ram lamb

Overall reserve champion went to Darragh McMenamin’s standout ram lamb.

This impressive lamb was out of a ewe purchased from the Glenroe flock and he was sired by Froggray Flamboyant.

Reserve male champion was awarded to another ram lamb, this time from Barney O’Carroll.

This powerful lamb was sired by the well-known sire Limestone Bugatti.

Charollais

In the Charollais section, there was an entry of just over 70 sheep. Judge for the day in the Charollais section was NI-based breeder Ian Craig.

It was a stylish aged ewe from Mark Miley that came out on top as the 2025 All-Ireland Charollais champion. This standout ewe was sired by Kirkhouse William Wallace.

Overall reserve champion went to Liam Conway's powerful aged ram, Carrowbaun Anchorman. Anchorman man is a son of Arkrow Noah's Ark.
