There was a massive entry of over 1200 sheep at the 178th Armagh County show on Saturday. The weather was extremely poor but the rain didn’t deter a huge crowd of both breeders and spectators coming out in force.

With over 13 breeds on show and eight breed national championship titles up for grabs the quality of sheep hitting the show rings was extremely strong.

Rising to the top and catching the eye of interbreed judge Patrick O’Keefe was Graham Foster's super shearling ewe that claimed the coveted interbreed title. This super Boyo Bravemans Game sired shearling ewe also stood as interbreed champion at the Balmoral show a few weeks ago.

Taking the reserve champion spot in the interbreed championship was a magnificent Suffolk ram lamb from the Limestone flock of Mark Priestley.
