Ahead of this year's Wimbledon tournament, Killarney’s Café du Parc is serving up an afternoon tea inspired by the oldest tennis tournament in the world, writes Sarah McIntosh.
Many restaurants and cafés across Ireland are getting on board with this year's Wimbledon action with inspired menus and offers.
One of which is Killarney’s Café du Parc, offering a tennis themed afternoon tea until 14 July.
Watch live matches and music performances while savouring dishes such as Cronin’s baked gammon and gruyère croque monsieur, a seafood lobster brioche roll with mango and Thai chili, or a Burren smokehouse smoked salmon croissant.
Also on the menu are a charcoal seafood crab salad sandwich and a cajun chicken sandwich with celery and green apple.
Wimbledon afternoon tea is served daily for €38 per person with tea or coffee or €60 with Taittinger Champagne flutes. For more information, click here.
