Tractor guidance systems are becoming more and more common, but they are still quite expensive for many. FieldBee caught the eye at Cereals 2025, with a display of its easy-to-use GPS guidance solutions and claims that its system can help small and medium-sized farmers to access these technologies through its easy use and lower purchase price.

FieldBee’s PowerSteer auto-steering system provides accuracy of ±2.5cm with RTK correction signal and works at speeds up to 20km/hr. Where low speeds of 0.3 to 1km/h are required, an optional dual controller solution is available.

With over 6,000 customers in 60 countries, FieldBee is already a well-established company that aims to provide accessible machine automation to every farm under all conditions.

The PowerSteer system includes an electric steering wheel and motor, a GPS receiver and a wiring harness. The system is controlled via a free Android application, so if you already have an Android tablet, this can be placed in the cab. Otherwise, a water and dustproof tablet can be included in the purchase.

The company claims that the system can be easily transferred between tractors and other machinery, while it can also help to optimise route mapping.

The software supports straight, curved, and headland guidance tracks, but some functionalities are only accessible through premium access in the Android application. Field boundaries can be mapped and all fieldwork is automatically recorded and stored in the system for easy access. Fieldwork reports can also be generated.

A basic version, PowerGuide, is also available for those who would like manual GPS functionalities without auto-steer capabilities. The systems come with a 30-day money back guarantee and a two-year warranty.
