From 1 January 2025, farmers stocked between 100kg organic N/ha and 129kg N/ha will be banned from using splash plates and will be legally required to spread slurry using LESS.
In line with the strong LESS equipment offering at the Ploughing Championships, Fleming Agri presented its new in 7.5m and 9m trailing shoe systems, now designed and built in house.
Farmers in Tipperary have said that LESS equipment is not practical or safe for small-scale drystock farms on high ground.
