I found what I will be watching this weekend, the short film The Good Farmer And The Failed Son.

The production, by filmmakers Ailill Martin and Peter Kilmartin from Dublin and Roscommon, was one of the winners of the Netflix Documentary Talent Fund worth £30,000.

The 13-minute film was released on the Netflix YouTube channel on Friday 27 June.

The film follows Jack, a drag performance artist and only son to farmer Bryan, who has to come back to help run his family farm.

It has also been nominated for Best Documentary Short at Raindance Film Festival.
