A first-time win in The Irish Field Breeders Championship for John McDonnell, whose pair of CBI Ice Queen (Baltic VDL) and Nice Queen, her Vancouver filly foal, shown by nephew Johnathan won the show jumping section. Nice Queen went on to win the All Ireland filly foal final at Moate the following week. Also pictured is the Irish Horse World editor Judith O’Toole / Susan Finnerty
A busy week at Dublin Horse Show for judge Jacques Verkerk (second right) as he and Marc Hahne judged The Irish Field Breeders Championship. The eventing section was won by Paula Howard’s combination of Dernahatten Out Of Touch (Bienamado) and Timpany Northern Lights, shown by Davy Lyons and Keva Milligan with Irish Horse World editor Judith O’Toole doing the presentation honours / Susan Finnerty
