The Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) has issued a recall of two Norbrook animal health products with immediate effect.
One batch each of Alamycin LA 300 mg/ml solution for injection and Pen/Strep injection have been recalled at wholesaler level with no action required at user level or veterinary level.
The HPRA has advised that this recall is precautionary and is due to observations made in relation to aseptic manufacturing and filling.
The batch number associated with the Pen/Strep is 5032-5OC with an expiry date of January 2027. The recalled Alamycin’s batch number is 4495-600C with an expiry date of December 2026.
