Temperatures are expected to rise in the coming days, bringing with it an increasing risk of respiratory problems in young cattle and animals recently housed.
Wet weather will likely force cattle indoors in the next week or so, so having good ventilation in place is critical to prevent disease outbreaks.
As grazing nears an end, make sure sheds are ready to house cattle for the winter.
While there will be plenty of field work to complete in summer, there are a few jobs that may need sorting in the yard around cattle housing. Outlined are a few examples.
