The online summer sizzlers sale ran from the 13 to 15 June on MartEye, in association with Harrison and Hetherington. The sale was made up of entries from five different breeds: Blue Texel, Badgerface, Dutch Spotted, Beltex and Texel. The entries came from both Northern Ireland and across the UK.

Topping the sale selling for £6,000 (€7,042) was Vicky’s Little Lady, a classy January-born Beltex ewe lamb from Co Down breeders Victoria and John Ferguson.

Placing the winning bid of £6,000 was Chris Johnston from Fivemiletown. Little Lady will be a foundation female for his new Beltex flock.
