Last Saturday 21 June, Hennessy Auctioneers hosted its June monthly machinery auction where a 2024 New Holland T6.145 with 510 hours sold for €70,000 plus VAT and commission.

The low-houred example was specified with the Electro Command gearbox and front weights.

A total of 875 lots were entered for the live and timed auction of which 87% were sold.

A total of 1,600 bidders registered in advance of the sales proceedings despite the good spell of weather.

Highlight lots included a 2019 JCB 540-170 teleporter which sold for €52,500 plus VAT; a 2020 HiSpec 2,600-gallon slurry tanker fitted with a 7.5m Mastek dribble bar which sold for €23,000; a 2013 Merlo P32.6 Panoramic telehandler which sold for €21,250.

A 2013 Broughan 24ft tandem-axle livestock trailer sold for €17,500; a 26ft tandem-axle Eamon Power livestock trailer sold for €15,100; a 2014 Houghton Parkhouse 14ft tri-axle livestock trailer sold for €12,750 plus VAT; a 2020 Amazone Catros 3003 Special disc harrow sold for €9,750 plus VAT; a Lely 770 six-rotor tedder sold for €7,000; and a Hardi Commander 2,800l 20m trailed sprayer sold for €6,700.

Only lots listed as ‘plus VAT’ were subject to VAT, all other lots had no VAT. Commission was charged at 5% on top of the prices quoted and subject to a maximum fee of €1,000/item. Hennessy Auctioneers’ next machinery auction is set to take place on Saturday 23 August.
