A 45.1ac holding with extensive equestrian facilities is for sale near the Curragh in Co Kildare. The property is at Rathbride and is being sold by Goffs Property. It’s going for public auction and the guide price is €1.2m.

The property is located in the heart of the thoroughbred industry, close to all supporting services, the auctioneers say.

The Curragh’s racecourse, gallops and schooling grounds are all within close access.

Meanwhile, the M7 motorway is approximately 4km away, Newbridge is 4.5km and Kildare town is 5km.

The property has an American barn with 22 loose boxes which are lofted overhead.

There is a horse walker, lunging ring, machinery shed, veterinary stocks, feed room, tack room, toilet and kitchen. Also in the yard is a five-bay hayshed with a lean-to and an enclosed 40m x 20m all-weather arena.

The sheds and other facilities in the yard were well made.

The land is divided into nine paddocks, all fenced and supplied with water. There is a base for a 2.5 furlong exercise gallop. The auction takes place on Friday, 4 July at 3pm in the Goffs Sales Complex, Kill, Co Kildare.
