Samco to showcase new silage forks and improved wheel extenders
Samco Agricultural Engineering is set to showcase its new silage forks, upgraded wheel extenders, range of maize drill, reseeding equipment and its CTS 1600 bale transporter at this year’s show.

</div></div><p>Samco says the wheel extenders are growing in popularity. It says the speed at which they can be moved from road to pit working position is less than three minutes for the pair. </p><p>Depending on the loader model, widths of up to 12 inches can be achieved, allowing the front wheels to be offset from the rear. It says the biggest advantage is the stability and safety it brings to the operator. </div></div><p>Adding to the range will be two sizes of disc harrows, fitted with deep-notched discs, ideal for grassland reseeding to chop up the scraw. A new designed stone fork will also be on the stand. </p><p>Samco’s CTS 1600 bale transporter will also make the cut. It is a one-person operation, fully automated for the loading, transport and unloading of round bales, with a capacity of 16 bales. The machine picks up the bales in the same direction as the baler releases them, meaning no crossing of the field.</p><p></p><p><I>The FTMTA show takes place on 12th, 13th & 14th of November 2024 date in Punchestown from 10am to 6pm daily, with the show opened to 8pm on Wednesday.</I>
