This Auto Turn function enables tractors, sprayers and combines fitted with a Topcon auto-steer system to make fully automated turns at the headlands.

It can be set to infill by different methods – it can skip runs or turn back on the next run depending on which you set it for.

Any existing X25 or x35 console can be upgraded to Auto Turn for an as yet unknown fee.

There is also a new function that will allow the machine to follow a preset boundary.

Coverage

When the implement width is known, the system will adjust to make sure that full coverage of the headland round is achieved with no driver input.

This function will be available at no extra charge other than to get a technician to unlock it in your existing console. The previous X30 console is not compatible with this new technology.

This technology will allow tillage farmers to sow their tramlines first if they want and to then fill in the gaps.

This is a major step forward in auto-steer technology and shows just how close to autonomous tractors we are getting.
