<p></p><p>Although not a big name in machinery circles in Ireland, Tafe is in the top three tractor manufacturers globally, building in the region of 200,000 tractors annually. </p><p>At Agritechnica this week, the Indian manufacturer unveiled its new EVX75, which it claims represents a breakthrough in hybrid technology. </div></div><p>The firm claims this dual powertrain enables the tractor to operate in zero-emission electric mode and hybrid mode for high-demand fieldwork, offering flexibility, fuel efficiency and environmental responsibility. Tafe claims that the EVX75 achieves lower emissions and operating costs than a diesel counterpart. </p><p>It’s kitted out with a liquid-cooled high-voltage system, while the three-speed transmission allows for a top speed of up to 40km/h. The EVX75 features a full HVAC cab, electro-hydraulic rear lift and independent PTO. </p><p>
