Northern Irish slurry handling equipment manufacturer, Slurryquip will launch two new innovations on its stand at this year’s National Ploughing Championships. Both solutions relate to umbilical spreading systems.

First up is the new HiLift pickup reel designed for Slurryquips 12 and 15m double macerator dribble bars.

The new system uses a hydraulic lifting mechanism that allows the drop-out bobbin to be elevated into a raised position, enabling it to stay in place while spreading if required.

With the current classic solution, operators must remove the bobbin before spreading.

The new HiLift option gives operators greater flexibility depending on the situation.

The second solution making its debut is the SpreadCommand Isobus system. This system has been specifically designed for use with umbilical systems and provides operators with complete control of all hydraulic functions via the tractors existing Isobus terminal.

A range of Slurryquips other trailing shoe and dribble bars will be on display.

Features include: switchable load-sensing hydraulic block for adaptable performance, integrated flowmeter data for real-time monitoring and mapping capabilities for detailed record keeping and compliance.

Both offerings are available now on Slurryquip’s 12m and 15m double macerator dribble bar systems, with reel options of 800m or 1,200m.

Meanwhile, a larger 18m model is currently in development and scheduled for release in 2026. Slurryquip will also showcase a number of other slurry handling solutions on its stand including tanker mounted dribble bars and trailing shoes.
