Eoin Lowry is the deputy editor and agribusiness editor at the Irish Farmers Journal. From a tillage farm in Ratheniska, Laois, Eoin graduated from UCD with a BAgrSc in 2001. After completing a MAgrSc he started his career as product manager with the French fertilizer company Groupe Roullier. He then moved to the position of operations manager with the Cooney Furlong Grain Company in Wexford. In 2008, he graduated with an MBA from Smurfit School of Business. In the same year he was appointed managing director of Target Fertilizers. Eoin is a past president of the Agricultural Science Association (ASA) and a former president of the Irish Fertilizer Marketing Association.
