

Andy Doyle is Tillage Editor at the Irish Farmers Journal since he joined in 1990. Prior to joining the Farmers Journal he worked in crop research at University College Dublin having completed his B. Agr. Sc and M. Agr. Sc. Degrees in the late 1970s. In his role as Tillage Editor he is forced to keep abreast of technical, policy, market and other matters relating to the tillage sector. He is an active member of the Irish Tillage and Land Use Society and serves on its Council. He is also a member of the Crops and Energy Commodity Stakeholder Group in Teagasc and was involved in the production of the Tillage Sector Development Plan 2012 and many of the sub-groups that were formed to help guide that plan.
